When will the new boulevard be complete?
Completed late Summer 2013

When will the first houses be ready?
Taylor Wimpey and Yuill Homes have started the construction of new homes. Marketing suites and show homes are open on site and both developers have welcomed their first residents onto the development.

Who is building the houses?
Taylor Wimpey will be building 70 homes. Yuill homes will be building the 1st phase of 33 homes. In addition, we have launched the DurhamGate Design a Home opportunity, construction having commenced early April 2012. We now have Plot 1 and 2 completed with our first residents moved into Plot 1.

What size of offices will be available?
We have planning approval for 440,000 sq ft of headquarter office accommodation. We anticipate most buildings will be in the order of 25,000 - 50,000 sq ft. There potentially will be smaller office space available as part of the retail core which we will be designing during 2012.

When will the pub be ready?

Who can I contact about employment opportunities at DURHAMGATE?
There are lots of companies working on the design and construction of Durhamgate, as well as those businesses that ultimately will be based here. As the developers of Durhamgate, we encourage those companies working for us to employ and train local people wherever possible.
